Milk it for what it’s worth

Who knew milk can be made into paint? That’s the concept behind Milk Paint, which prides itself as a “chemically safe, environmentally friendly paint”.

I’m thinking of painting our bedroom and stumbled upon Milk Paint by accident. I know Sherwin-Williams has the Harmony line, and Benjamin Moore has the Eco Spec line. But I’ve never heard of an organic paint until now.

It’s made of milk and completely biodegradable. Getting rid of it is not a big problem. It’s safe for people, their pets and the environment. I wonder if it’s true that it smells milky upon applying to your walls? Also, milk paint is supposed to be totally free of strong odors, air pollutants, volatile organic compounds, and solvents or harmful poisons. Fantastic.

The Got Milk? people should hear about this.
