Thermal curtain panels

We bought new thermal curtain panels from Target (two panels at $20 each). They’re supposed to keep the room warm so you save on your heating bills. So far, it’s doing a good job keeping our room dark, but warm? Yet to be seen or felt. It’s machine washable too.
