The U.K.’s Travelodge has come up with a new concept for a budget hotel that could change the face of traveling: a portable hotel. It will utilize shipping containers and will be a 120-room hotel. one in Uxbridge is already being constructed, while one near London’s Heathrow Airport is in the planning stage.
Prefab is fabulous. I’m sure people will just flock to such a hotel, even if it’s only out of curiosity! Once everyone finds out how economical, useful, and eco-friendly this concept is, it could open the doors to more recyclable hotels in the future.
