McDonald’s to serve good coffee?

And by good coffee, we mean eco-friendly, guilt-free coffee!

Fast food giant McDonalds has secured endorsement from international environmental organisation Rainforest Alliance that guarantees the coffee served at its 484 McCafe outlets is made from beans grown under environmentally sustainable practices and socially responsible conditions.

Nobody really associates McDonald’s with healthful, organic food and socially responsible practices, so this is a very surprising move on their part. It could be a PR ploy for all we know, but still, everyone can just put more pressure on McDonald’s and applaud their good efforts at the same time.
