Everyone knows the health benefits of walking and biking. We also know the environmental benefits of not driving – you know, it saves energy and reduces pollution. I read somewhere (sorry, I can’t remember where it was) that by driving more or less 1,000 miles each month, about 100+ tons of carbon dioxide gets produced yearly. Try noting down your mileage for a month. Then you’ll see why walking and biking can be a good idea this summer.
