We’re currently staying in New York City, and across the street from where we’re staying is an office building. I took this photograph at 11:30 p.m. and found it just unbelievable that the lights are still on even though absolutely no one was in the building. It’s almost 2 a.m. right now and the lights are still on. Is this part of some plan to help make sure that New York City looks all brilliant and sparkly at night? Are buildings around the city keeping their lights turned on just to create the impression that the city, indeed, never sleeps?
