At last: garbage segregation in our neighborhood

After what seems like forever, a city ordinance requiring people to dutifully segregate their garbage at home is finally being enforced. In our neighborhood, bins for biodegradable and non-biodegradable trash have already been provided, as well as a list of which items fall under those categories. Households who won’t comply with the ordinance will be fined. Now I can only hope that it will be seriously enforced and that everyone will do the right thing as well.
