Ditch the paper towels and switch to Skoy

Paper towels are great for cleaning up messes, but once you’re done with them, it’s off to the trash can for them, adding to all the solid waste that will eventually make its way to landfills. The solution here would be to find a reusable, washable option that would replace your paper towels and eventually break down safely.

Enter Skoy. This business based in Encinitas, California, is owned by Michelle Lundqvist and Karen Petersen and has actually been around since 2007 and carries four products:

  • The Skoy Cloth is their flagship product and is made to be a paper towel replacement. It’s washable, highly absorbent, and is made from a natural cotton and wood-based cellulose pulp, thus being 100% biodegradable when properly composted and breaking down within 15 weeks.
  • The Skoy Scrub is made from cotton and a food-grade non-toxic hardener, great for scrubbing non-stick pans, ceramic stovetops, and glass.
  • The Skoy Towel is an 18 x 24-inch drying towel made from 100% recycled polyester.
  • The Skoy Holder is a stainless steel holder that can hold any Skoy product and is magnetic and therefore easily detachable and cleaned.

You can purchase their products on their website or find a list of retailers in the US carrying Skoy.

Good day! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
